Application for Minor Variance or Permission

This application form reflects the mandatory information prescribed in the schedules to Ontario Regulations 200/96 made under the Planning Act, RSO, 1990, as amended. The application will request the following information: 

1. applicant and ownership details
2. site location and description
3. details about existing buildings
4. site servicing information
5. planning information and reason for the variance/permission
6. a site plan and other studies (if identified in the preconsultation)
7. signed declaration
8. payment of $650 as per the Planning Fees Bylaw.

Information and material submitted in support of your application shall be made available to the public, as per Section 1.0.1 of The Planning Act.

Failure to submit the required information will delay the consideration of this application. An application which is not considered complete under the Planning Act is not subject to the timelines of the Act. Applicants are encouraged to consult with the Township prior to completing the application.

If you are not the property owner, you will need authorization to make the application on their behalf. If you aren't able to complete the application at one time, you can save it and return later.
